Aundha Nagnath Hingoli Maharastra:

          A small village in Hingoli District of Marathwada region is famous for the temple of Lord Shiva. It is a pilgrim center of greater significance, since it is considered to be the first (Adya) of the Twelve Jyotirlingas. Apart from this honor, the temple of Lord Nagnath constructed in the Hemadpanti style of architecture spreading for over 60,000 square feet area. Another unique feature of this temple is the vehicle of Lord Shiva 'Nandi Bail' is in the back of the temple instead of the front.

          Nearby Places to Visit Nanded, a major Sikh Pilgrimage Center, 61 kilometers by road from Aundha, is a home to Sach Khand Huzur Sahib Gurudwara where Guru Gobind Singh's ashes are buried. The Pandav Raja Temple is another popular excursion. It is said that the temple rotated around itself when Saint Namdeo performed kirtan. Namdev hails from the nearby Bamni Village. Namdev's Guru 'Visoba Khechar' also hailed from Aundh Nagnath.
