A small village in Hingoli District of
Marathwada region is famous for the temple of Lord Shiva. It is a
pilgrim center of greater significance, since it is considered to be the
first (Adya) of the Twelve Jyotirlingas. Apart from this honor, the
temple of Lord Nagnath constructed in the Hemadpanti style of
architecture spreading for over 60,000
square feet area. Another unique feature of this temple is the vehicle
of Lord Shiva 'Nandi Bail' is in the back of the temple instead of the
front.
