Mr.Megnad Saha saw himself as the new Rajput and Maratta warrior for new India. He was
the one who brought nuclear physics to India. He was the first person
to apply quantum theory to Stellar objects and we know today that sun is
made of Hydrogen because of the work built upon his equation. He was
the one who went through all the diverse calendars existing in Hindustan
and provided us with a national calendar which incorporates the best of
tradition and modern astronomical knowledge. And yes... he was a Dalit.
... Megnad Saha... a quantum Indian : inspiration for all Indians who
want to be scientists..
